Dr. Madison Adler, Esq. is a senior international data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital regulatory attorney advising technology-driven and highly regulated organizations on complex EU and U.S. compliance, risk, and governance matters. Licensed to practice law in California (state and federal courts), she is recognized for deep expertise across GDPR, ePrivacy, CPRA/CCPA, cybersecurity incident response, and privacy-by-design governance for global digital products and platforms.

Madison has held senior, product-embedded legal roles at globally influential technology companies including Google (Google Play), Uber, and X (formerly Twitter), and has served as Of Counsel to international law firms advising enterprise clients on regulatory exposure, investigations, transactions, and litigation risk. Her work sits at the intersection of law, technology, and business strategy—where regulatory judgment directly shapes product design, market access, and commercial outcomes.

She advises clients at critical inflection points, including product launches, cross-border data strategy, cybersecurity incidents, regulatory scrutiny, and M&A, providing clear, defensible guidance under rapidly evolving EU and U.S. digital regulatory regimes. Madison is particularly known for translating complex regulatory obligations into operationally viable frameworks that withstand supervisory and enforcement scrutiny without impeding innovation.

Most recently, Madison has acted as in-house and interim privacy counsel for multinational EU organizations, partnering directly with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across product, engineering, security, HR, IT, and operations. Her counsel supports global organizations navigating multi-jurisdictional compliance while maintaining scalable, resilient, and audit-ready privacy and data governance programs.

Madison holds a Juris Doctor and is a PhD Fellow in Law at the University of Innsbruck, with a research focus on European digital regulation. She has completed advanced executive education in data privacy and technology governance at Harvard Business School, reinforcing her practice with a rigorous, business-oriented perspective on digital risk and innovation. She is CIPP-US certified and advises clients fluently in English and professionally in German across the United States and the European Union.
